During the day, attendees will also be able to experience all the attractions at the ICON Park Orlando for free including the Wheel at ICON Park, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, SEALIFE Aquarium, Skeletons Museum of Osteology and the Orlando Star Flyer as well as a special discount at the ICON Wheelhouse Market restaurants.
"Our goal is to promote the many things we have in Florida to our hospitality industry workers, and we are excited to be partnering with many of our DMO’s to offer this special event for the hardworking 'Ambassadors' of our state," states Keith Charlton, Director, Florida HIA.
Florida HIA is also partnering with the UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management by offering students the opportunity to volunteer for the day. With their WTD 2019 job shadowing initiative, students will be there to shadow DMO’s as well as encourage attendees to engage and share the event on their social media outlets for a chance to win additional prizes.
