In celebration of the opening of this location, and to introduce Dr. Dando to the community, they will have an open house in their new Fargo location (Catalyst Clinic 1800 21st Avenue South) on October 30th. During the open house Dr. Dando and his staff will be offering complimentary ultrasound screenings from 9:00am - 7:00pm. Dr. Dando received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. After a fifteen year career as a board-certified Internist, Dr. Dando began training in venous disease at The Circulatory Center in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Dando is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). In addition, Dr. Dando is certified by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS). He is one of the few Physicians in the country to hold all these credentials.
Dr. Dando is well known and respected in the Fargo-Moorhead community from his work over the past fifteen years treating varicose veins exclusively with modern, office-based procedures. Dr. Dando has successfully performed over 17,000 Laser Vein Surgeries and 35,000 Sclerotherapy Sessions. He practices Venous Medicine fulltime and his practice focuses only on Venous Medicine.
Dr. Dando’s background as a Board Certified internal medicine physician allows him to provide exceptional diagnostic capabilities to his patients. With his fifteen years of experience in primary care medicine, Dr. Dando brings a personal, patient-centered approach to the practice.
Dr. Dando notes that frequently patients with medically significant vein issues do not have large, bulging varicose veins visible on their legs. Rather, they commonly present with symptoms related to vein issues such as heaviness, fatigue, cramps, unexplained swelling, or restlessness. An ultrasound exam done on your legs in the office can determine if there is an underlying vein issue that is causing your leg symptoms.
All procedures that Dr. Dando performs are done in the office with local anesthesia only. No sedation is necessary and there is no downtime.
