Grail to the Thief Goes Free to Play

Blind accessible audio game goes free to play in recognition of World Sight Day.

Worcester, MA, October 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- For All To Play is excited to announce that their blind accessible audio game, Grail to the Thief, has gone free to play in recognition of World Sight Day, an annually observed global event meant to draw attention on blindness and vision impairment.

Grail to the Thief is an interactive audio adventure for Windows, Mac and Linux that can be played using only sound, without the need for visuals. The game has been designed with the needs of the blind and visually impaired in mind but can be enjoyed by everyone. The game delivers an exciting, immersive experience in which the player is always fully aware of what is happening through the use of voice-overs, sound effects, ambient sound and music.

Grail to the Thief was successfully crowdfunded through Kickstarter on May 4, 2014, receiving over $10,000 in pledges. The game was first released through the For All To Play website, foralltoplay.com, on September 10, 2014. It was later Greenlit by the Steam Community on May 13, 2015 and released on Steam on May 26, 2015.

About Grail to the Thief
Grail to the Thief stars Hank Krang, a thief from the future, and his self-aware time machine, TEDI, as they go throughout time stealing priceless artifacts. On their first adventure, Hank and TEDI travel to Arthurian times in search of the Holy Grail.

In Grail to the Thief, players make their choices through an RPG-style conversation tree, eliminating the confusion and frustration that comes with traditional text adventure games, which require players to type in commands to progress. The game is a nostalgic throwback to childhood favorites such as Zork, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Day of the Tentacle, and Grim Fandango, and draws inspiration from old BBC radio dramas and the movie Time Bandits.
