Mobile Mark's LTM508 is a Wide-Band Antenna Solution for Fleet Management Installations
Itasca, IL, October 17, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Mobile Mark’s LTM508 Multiband Antenna responds to the growing interest in antenna solutions for fleet management that cover the entire sub-6 frequency band from 600-6000 MHz. These “6-2-6” antennas make it possible to connect to any of the current or planned cellular frequency bands that reside at or below 6 GHz.
The LTM508 antenna contains 2xLTE elements covering 617-960 & 1710-6000 MHz, as well as 2xWiFi coverage on 2.4 & 5 GHz and 1xGPS. The antenna can also be configured with a GNSS element covering GPS, Glonass and Galileo (specify LTMG508).
Michael Berry, Mobile Mark’s President and CEO explained, “In our conversations with customers and partners, we heard growing interest in 5G networks and requests for wideband and multiband antennas compatible with the 5G trials. Mobile Mark’s LTM508 “6-2-6” fleet management antennas are in production today with efficient, 5 dBi gain on the FCC allocated 5G mid-bands of 3550-3700 MHz as well as being backwards compatible for all Cellular frequencies.”
The LTMG508 model can be paired with multi-connection 5G-ready routers and gateways already on the market including the Peplink MAX HD2 (4xLTE, 4xLTE, 1xGNSS) and the Digi WR64 (4xLTE, 4xWiFi, 1xGNSS).
The antenna is housed in the attractive, recognizable LTM radome in a choice of black or white radome. It is typically configured with 15-feet of low loss cable. Cable length and connectors can be customized.
The antenna is also available as a mag-mount with the model number MLTM508.
For high-vibration applications such as mining or large earth moving equipment, Mobile Mark has developed a proprietary construction technique with superior Shock & Vibration test results. This option is available for the LTMG508 Series antennas.
The antenna is Made-in-the-USA. Berry added, “We are particularly proud of the fact that these antennas are designed and manufactured in our Itasca, Illinois factory.”
Mobile Mark’s full range of Fleet Management and Smart Highway antenna solutions, including other 5G-ready Sub-6 antenna designs, will be on design at the Mobile World Congress Expo in Los Angeles, CA from October 22-24, 2019.
