New Podcast by InGenius Prep Takes You Inside College Admissions Offices
New Haven, CT, October 18, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Admissions counseling company InGenius Prep released the first three episodes of their new podcast “Inside the Admissions Office: Advice from Former Admissions Officers.” Every other Monday, an episode featuring interviews with Former Admissions Officers, graduates of elite universities, and college admissions experts will be released. These interviews aim to give students and their families an inside look into admissions offices and insights on how to create impressive college applications.
“We know there is a lot of confusion surrounding how college admissions offices operate right now, and we hope this podcast will help shed light on this complicated process,” InGenius Prep Co-Founder and CEO, Joel Butterly, explained. “It’s important for students and their families to understand how their applications are actually assessed so that they know what it takes to craft successful applications.”
Butterly is featured in the first episode of Inside the Admissions Office and discusses the current state of college admissions, including the ongoing Varsity Blues scandal and decreasing acceptance rates. Future episodes are set to include interviews with Former Admissions Officers from UPenn, Stanford, and Rice, as well as graduates from Yale, Dartmouth, and Stanford.
Students and parents can currently listen to interviews with Former Admissions Officers from Dartmouth about daily life as an Ivy League admissions reader and the advantages of applying early. “We are so proud to have such a large team of Former Admissions Officers and graduates from top colleges, and we are excited to use this podcast to share their knowledge and first-hand experiences with a wider audience,” stated Butterly.
