NPSA Plans Euro Resale Expo Conference in Spain
The National Portable Storage Association members set to gather near Barcelona for educational and networking opportunities.
Kansas City, MO, April 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The National Portable Storage Association is heading to Europe. The non-profit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry will hold its next Resale Expo conference June 8-10, 2008 at the Dolce Hotel at Sitges, Spain, just 30 minutes from Barcelona.
"We are developing an overall event that will promote learning, business opportunities, networking and camaraderie amongst all participants," said NPSA Executive Director John Finnessy, CMP. "It is our goal to provide an eventful conference that presents pertinent educational programs and facilitates the exchange of ideas between members, sponsors and guests."
Educational topics include European/U.S. retail operations, economic factors affecting container shipping, asset management versus asset ownership, a primer on the modular industry and how it benefits container companies, BIC-CODES for international container transport, and general roundtable discussions on issues affecting the industry.
In addition to the educational and networking opportunities, attendees will be taking a trip through the Spanish countryside to the estates of Jean Leon, as well as a tour of the charming seaside town of Sitges. There will also be a reception at the famous Maricel Palace overlooking the Mediterranean. Millionaire Charles Deering purchased the palace in 1912 to house his vast art collection.
