Adoptions From The Heart’s Gift Card Drive to Benefit Birth Parents and Children
Philadelphia, PA, October 31, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Infant adoption agency Adoptions From The Heart (AFTH) gets into the spirit of giving this holiday season with the nonprofit’s annual Gift Card Drive. The holidays can be emotionally trying for birth mothers and fathers. Aside from constantly thinking about their son or daughter post-placement, the season brings more stress to birth parents who continue to struggle financially. Some birth parents may even have children they are raising at home. It is empowering when one can purchase a gift and witness the receiver beam with joy.
The 2019 AFTH Gift Card Drive operates the same way from year to year. Those who are interested in participating in the gift card collection can do so by mailing gift cards ranging in value from $25-$200 to Adoptions From The Heart’s main office at 30-31 Hampstead Circle, Wynnewood, PA 19096. Making the process even easier, instead of purchasing gift cards to send in, supporters can contribute to the fund by making a donation to the official 2019 Gift Card Drive website: https://conta.cc/2qe28eo. AFTH social workers will use the donations to purchase gift cards and personally distribute them to clients in need this holiday season.
The Gift Card Drive not only assists birth parents to buy necessities but also an opportunity to purchase holiday gifts to bring happiness to their children.
“I wasn’t going to be able to give my two little girls presents this year, but you made it possible. There will never be enough ways to express how thankful I am for this,” said Kristen, a 2018 Gift Card Drive recipient.
