BYD Ready to Help Airports Go Green
Los Angeles, CA, November 06, 2019 --(PR.com)-- BYD (Build Your Dreams) will offer its expertise in zero emission transportation technology at the 12th Annual “Airports Going Green” Conference, November 3-6, 2019, in Chicago, IL.
BYD, which is already working with three major airports on zero emission transportation, will have a booth at the conference, which is hosted by the American Association of Airport Executives and the City of Chicago Department of Aviation. John Hatch, BYD Regional Sales Manager, Southeast, will be on hand to answer questions.

- And, BYD’s largest airport customer to date, Los Angeles World Airports, which ordered 20 of BYD’s 60-foot articulated K11Ms.
States and cities are adopting regulations and plans to help their airports go green. For example, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has adopted a sustainability plan with the goal of becoming the “world’s greenest airport.” In June, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) adopted the Innovative Zero-Emission Airport Shuttle Bus regulation (ASB), requiring all airport shuttles in the state to be zero emission by Dec. 31, 2035.
