Philly Vegan Pop Flea to End Its Successful Run with Three Vegan Holiday Markets
Philadelphia, PA, November 08, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Since its launch in June 2016, V Marks the Shop’s Philly Vegan Pop Flea has been a community-building event to connect folks with vegan & veg-friendly businesses. From food to crafts, the Flea has been an all-inclusive marketplace to support individuals and small businesses by promoting compassionate lifestyles in Philadelphia and beyond. After 3.5 years of success & over 30 markets, the hosts have decided to turn their focus to community activities at their South Philly storefront and more specialty events.
“We are so thankful to everyone who has supported veganism in the community. From our venue partners to fellow small business owners to every attendee, the growth of vegan small business has been spectacular. While we’re sad to end the Flea, we’re so happy to see how this platform has helped small businesses thrive! It’s really been Philly supporting Philly in a big vegan way!” says Carmella Lanni, co-owner of V Marks the Shop and founder of Philly Vegan Pop Flea.
In addition to Philly Vegan Pop Flea, V Marks the Shop hosts food competitions such as Philly MAC-Down: Best Vegan Mac & Cheese in the City and Super Philly Chili Bowl. MAC-Down just completed its fourth annual event on Labor Day. The hosts are working on the fifth annual MAC-Down event, along with a new baking competition! They also have a larger community event in the works for latter-half of 2020 & other community activities planned via their brick-and-mortar at 1515 McKean Street in South Philly.
To round out their successful run, Philly Vegan Pop Flea has three holiday markets on the calendar:
