The Scientology Info Center Announces Its Holiday Event Calendar
The Scientology Info Center is proud to announce its series of events over the holiday season. Starting on November 16, the events provide something for everyone over the next months.
Clearwater, FL, November 09, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Fall Downtown Block Party, on Saturday, November 16, is from 5-10pm at Cleveland Street and Fort Harrison Avenue. The event celebrates the local community with a live concert, refreshments, family-friendly games and activities and non-profits from the Tampa Bay area that are giving to the community every day. Guests can also participate in the free raffle drawing by getting tickets when visiting and learning about the Humanitarian Centers on North Fort Harrison sponsored by the Church of Scientology.
On November 30, from 7-8pm the L. Ron Hubbard East Coast Theatre will deliver its final live old-time radio show performance for the year at the Scientology Information Center on 500 Cleveland Street. It will be an exciting double feature performance of Mr. Hubbard’s Pulp-fiction stories, Battle of Wizards and Planet Builders. Doors open at 6:30pm, the show starts at 7pm. Admission is free. Light complimentary refreshments will be available.
On December 7, in addition to the City of Clearwater’s “Miracle on Cleveland Street,” the 27th Annual Grand Opening Ceremony of Winter Wonderland, a free admission Christmas village which accepts unwrapped toys or canned goods as a donation for needy children this holiday season located on the North East Corner of Drew and Fort Harrison Avenue in Downtown Clearwater. Opening time is 6pm.
And, on the same evening, for those who like Holiday Caroling, the Church of Scientology Choir will be performing classic Holiday songs at the Information Center at 500 Cleveland Street from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Admission is free. Light complimentary refreshments will be available.
Then on December 8, noted performer Ms. Joanie Sigal will return to the Information Center to highlight and perform a selection of her favorite holiday songs, encouraging audience participation. Doors open at 6:30pm, the show starts at 7pm. Admission is free. Light complimentary refreshments will be available.
On Sunday December 15, the Scientology Info Center will host a special holiday tea party for the community from 3-5pm. It provides an opportunity to have an afternoon cup of tea and with friends, or just relax and unwind with holiday teas and treats. Short educational videos are also available for those curious about Scientology.
“The Holidays are right around the corner,” said Amber Skjelset, Manager of the Information Center Manager. “The Holidays are a time for being thankful and spending time with family and friends and the Church of Scientology is happy to provide events which bring people together and make the season all the merrier,” said Skjelset.
