Kelley Kronenberg Adds Harsh Arora as a Partner in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 13, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, announced that Harsh Arora has joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as a Partner. Arora focuses his practice on business litigation and handles complex and international corporate transaction matters. He is experienced in a variety of industries such as health care, hospitality, leisure, real estate, retail, technology and finance.
Throughout his legal career, Arora has represented clients in business litigation matters both in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels. He is accustomed to handling cases of exceptional complexity, including parallel civil and administrative proceedings, and multidistrict litigation. He has the unique ability to approach issues as both a talented business advisor and a seasoned business litigation attorney which allows him to be extremely effective in cases that involve topics such as labor disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, commercial leasing, construction liens, non-competition agreements, intellectual property litigation, and commercial torts. Additionally, he assists clients in the resolution of their business disputes through mediations and arbitrations. Building on his broad-based dispute resolution experience, Arora serves as an outside general counsel for businesses with a prominent national or international presence.
Prior to accepting a role at Kelley Kronenberg, Arora was the head of the business litigation department at a national firm; and previous to that, practiced as a corporate transaction attorney where he gained experience in advising privately held businesses on mergers, acquisitions, conversions and domestications. This included business closings, negotiations, corporate governance and complex business tax matters in connection with audits by the local tax authorities and the Internal Revenue Service.
Arora has a diverse international background with work experience in business industries throughout Asia, Europe and the United States of America. He has assisted clients in several cross-border business transactions, asset protection techniques, federal chartering of credit unions and related finance matters. He has been published in Tax Notes and Tax Notes International on topics related to the value added tax and new tax proposals in the United States, Australia and Europe. He has also published legal commentary and articles relating to international business law, dispute resolution and tax controversies.
Arora has been invited as a speaker at legal and business conferences to speak on topics dealing with cross-border transactions and business litigation. He is the past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Florida and currently serves on the board of directors. He is also a member of the board and former vice president of The India US Chamber of Commerce of South Florida. Additionally, he is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association.
Born in India, Arora attended IMI University Centre in Switzerland majoring in Hotel Operation Management. He continued his education at the University of Central Florida, graduating as class valedictorian as well as magna cum laude, later earning his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida A&M University College of Law. He then received a LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Arora is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York. He is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and Swiss German.
