Kids Adopt A Shelter Announces Its 2019 Annual Holiday Drive

Copiague, NY, November 15, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Kids Adopt a Shelter announced the 2019 Annual Holiday Drive. The Holiday Drive serves two very important purposes. The first is to recruit kids and their families to adopt a shelter, the second is to collect donations for the shelters.

Kids Adopt a Shelter is looking for kids and their families to adopt an animal shelter, the families fundraise and collect donations to assist the shelter in keeping animals comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Throughout the years, Kids Adopt a Shelter has partnered with several organizations that help the families with fund raising. Sean, the founder of Kids Adopt a Shelter states, “Kids and their families from all over the world have already adopted shelters and have started their fundraising efforts, however there are so many more animal shelters out there that need help.”

Kids Adopt A Shelter works with families to guide them towards what works, help them find a good rescue and/or shelter to devote their time. Their goal is to have a kid in each town across the country adopt a shelter.

Kids Adopt a Shelter also works with Scout Troops as well as anyone who is looking for community service hours.

Fundraising and collecting donations is a large part of the Annual Holiday Drive. In the last 8 years of the Annual Holiday Drive, Kids Adopt a Shelter has been able to send out food, supplies and monetary donations to hundreds of animal shelters across the world. The kids and families work hard to support the shelters throughout the year, however with the holidays coming, animal shelters need even more help. Through the fundraising and supply donations, these animals stay comfortable while waiting to be adopted.

Kids Adopt a Shelter will be at Petco in Massapequa Friday 11/29 from 10am-3pm, as well as Saturday 12/14 and Sunday 12/15 from 1-4pm. On Sunday 12/15 Kids Adopt a Shelter welcomes Santa Paws, he will be present to take pictures with your pets from 1-4pm. Kids Adopt A Shelter will also be at Petco in Bayshore Friday 11/29 from 10am-3pm and Saturday 11/30 from 2-6pm, and at Pet Supplies Plus in Deer Park, NY on Saturday 11/30 from 10am-3pm collecting donations. All of the donations and supplies are set to be delivered to shelters and rescues towards the end of December.

Kids Adopt a Shelter is an animal support organization founded in 2011 by Sean Martin, and was created after he collected donations for a local shelter. He realized that other shelters needed help as well, and found that many other children and families shared his passion. Kids Adopt a Shelter is now represented by children and families worldwide.
