"Don't Cha" Recording Artist Retains Next Wave Public Relations

Next Wave Public Relations has been retained by Atlanta singer, songwriter and dancer Tori Alamaze, who originally recorded “Don’t Cha,” a hit since made popular by the Pussycat Dolls.

Atlanta, GA, March 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Next Wave Public Relations has been retained by Atlanta singer, songwriter and dancer Tori Alamaze, who originally recorded “Don’t Cha,” a hit since made popular by the Pussycat Dolls.

“People are going to be hearing a lot more about this sexy, spitfire survivor of a woman,” said Next Wave President Sean Liphard.

With her long-awaited debut album scheduled for release in May, Alamaze is thrilled about working with Next Wave. “I can tell the best is still definitely yet to come,” she said.

Fans can enjoy a sneak peek of her music in theatres now. The duet she recorded with Atlanta rapper Cee-lo, “Quite Simply,” is featured in the movie “Something New,” starring Sanna Lathan and Blair Underwood. The romantic comedy released by Focus Features debuted February 3. Her version of “Don’t Cha” is also featured in Queen Latifah’s 2005 movie “Beauty Shop.”

Alamaze got her start in the entertainment industry as a make-up artist for performers such as Brandy, Faith, Erykah Badu, Usher, TLC and Xscape. More recently, she toured with Outkast during their ’03-’04 “Hey Ya” tour as a dancer and back-up singer.
