Frederick, MD Men’s Event Includes Music and Community Service
Dr. Del Tackett, Alan Autry, Promise Keepers join together to promote community service and biblical worldview. Come praise, learn and serve together with other like minded men. Saturday 4/12, 8 AM Westview 16 theater.
Frederick, MD, April 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Promise Keepers comes back to Maryland this Saturday, April 12.
The Colorado based men’s ministry has partnered with Maryland Coalition of Men’s Ministries to bring a service oriented men’s event to Frederick at 8 AM this Saturday.
The event consists of a 90 minute digital presentation featuring Dr. Del Tackett, who leads “The Truth Project,” aimed at helping Christians deal with modern issues from a biblical worldview.
Also appearing is Alan Autry, the current mayor of Fresno, CA - a former actor and NFL quarterback. You’ll be gripped by his life story, which included meeting his father at age 30.
Rounding out the program is great live footage of Promise Keepers music, and another chapter of life in “The Small Group”.
After the digital video runs, teams of men will disperse to community service projects for a few hours. Plans are to do landscaping work at Hope Alive Women and Childrens Center in Sabillasville, MD and/or painting/maintenance work at Catoctin Pregnancy Center in Emmitsburg, MD.
