Casey Green, M.D. selected as new Medical Director for Fort Behavioral Health.
Fort Worth, TX, December 31, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Fort Behavioral Health announces Casey Green as Medical Director. With a decade in the field of addiction treatment to draw from, Green will join the Texas-based rehab center at 7140 Oakmont Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas. "I am excited to come to Fort," Green says. “I am from Fort Worth, and this is my community. I know treatment is much more effective when it’s local, and I am ready to bring quality addiction treatment home. Dr. Casey Green received a B.A. in biology from the University of Texas in Austin and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Galveston. Dr. Green completed his psychiatry residency training at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The Texas-raised physician is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and board certified in both psychiatry and addiction medicine. Green’s specialized training and experience enables him to offer patients a combination of medical and psychiatric care. He is an expert in addiction treatment.

Dr. Casey Green is the Medical Director of Fort Behavioral Health. Dr. Green received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas in 1996 and his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas. Dr. Green completed his psychiatry residency training at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He has worked at Terrell State Hospital, North Texas State Hospital and with the Right Step Treatment Centers. Dr. Green believes that effective treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction should address co-occurring disorders, and that treatment must be holistic, strength-based, and multidisciplinary. He strives to give clients individualized care that gives them the opportunity to live a sober and abundant life one day at a time.
