Lauris Freidenfelds Joins Telgian Engineering & Consulting as Senior Project Manager

Chicago, IL, January 31, 2020 --(PR.com)-- Lauris Freidenfelds has joined the Telgian Engineering & Consulting (TEC) team as Senior Project Manager. In this position, Freidenfelds will be responsible for the project management of complex security projects, maintaining client relationships and developing new security business for TEC.

Freidenfelds brings more than 40 years of security consulting experience to TEC, including extensive knowledge of operational security, technology and emergency management programs.

Prior to joining TEC, Freidenfelds served as Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness for Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. There, he supervised and directed emergency management personnel and operations including planning, organizing, budgeting and directing security programs and activities. In addition, Freidenfelds was responsible for the development and coordination of disaster preparedness plans, as well as the mitigation of, preparation for, and recovery from hazards and disasters.

Nationally recognized for his industry expertise, Freidenfelds specializes in security for the healthcare sector. He has provided security consulting for some of the country’s most recognizable facilities, from the Mayo Foundation, to Memorial Hermann Hospitals, to University of Chicago Hospitals and US Veteran’s Administration Hospitals, plus more.

Freidenfelds is also a sought after speaker and has presented numerous workshops and seminars at national conferences such as the IFMA Conference, ISC West, ASIS Chicago and NFPA. In addition, his technical papers and informational security articles can be found in Info Security Magazine and Security Technology & Design, among others.

Freidenfelds earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. Additional training includes criminal investigations and interrogation, as well as police officer training at the Chicago Police Academy.
