Kalispell, MT, April 11, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Flood Insurance Agency (TFIA) announced that is has appointed Carolyn J. Irwin as the new Director of Financial Institution Solutions. Ms. Irwin, formerly Vice President, and Flood Insurance Manager of Flagstar Bank, FSB, Troy, MI, will report directly to Tiara Hecht, President of TFIA.
Ms. Irwin comes to TFIA with nearly fifteen years of flood insurance compliance and administration expertise. Prior to joining TFIA, Ms. Irwin served as a liaison with the National Flood Determination Association and is currently the Vice President of the National Lender Insurance Council. She has also been a speaker at FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Conference. In her new role at TFIA, Ms. Irwin will lead the marketing and expansion of TFIA’s Total Flood Compliance Solution to banks and credit unions in all 50 states.
