Two Indianapolis Firefighters Form CPR/AED Certification Company
Two Indianapolis Firefighters form a CPR/AED certification company to provide certifications to professionals in the medical, child care, fitness and education industries.
Greenwood, IN, April 17, 2008 --(PR.com)-- BSafe BReady, a CPR/AED certification, first aid and disaster preparedness organization, today announced that its service offerings are available to the central Indiana area. The company is primarily focused on providing state-mandated CPR/AED certification to professionals in the education, medical, fitness and child care industries.
According to top industry associations, the number of professions required to have up-to-date CPR/AED certifications as a provision of employment has experienced a significant upsurge. A recent influx in Automated External Defibrillation (AED) machines in schools, gyms and other common facilities has resulted in an increased need to properly train responsible staff. To meet this demand, BSafe BReady offers AED training as part as their custom matrix of CPR certification offerings.
“We’re providing fast, flexible and affordable CPR/AED certification to busy professionals that must have active certifications to obtain and maintain their jobs,” said BSafe BReady President and Founder Ken Boone. “Unlike traditional certification options, BSafe BReady teaches specialized CPR/AED to individuals and companies on their time and at a location of their choice.”
Boone and business partner Matt Bussard, Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) firefighters, formed BSafe BReady to share their significant hands-on experience and cutting-edge CPR/AED techniques with the metro-area community. All certifications provided by the company are American Heart Association (AHA) certified and are valid for two years.
“Nurses, teachers, personal trainers and day care employees are in constant need of CPR/AED certification and re-certification to keep up with the requirements of their jobs,” said Bussard, co-owner and lead instructor of BSafe BReady. “Oftentimes these busy professionals realize that their certifications are expiring over the weekend or they receive a last-minute job offer that requires an up-to-date certification, and that’s where we can help.”
BSafe BReady offers classes at its Greenwood, Ind. location, as well as any location of choice for individuals or businesses needing CPR/AED certification. The company offers flexible class sizes with custom pricing available for larger groups.
