Innovation Direct™ Receives Professional Prototype of Sports Accessory from India-Based Developer
Innovation Direct™ receives the professional prototype of a sports accessory it had commissioned an India-based developer to build that is the subject of an exclusive developmental agreement with a separate company.
Miami, FL, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Innovation Direct™, a South Florida-based leader in product licensing for over a decade, has received the final version of a professional prototype of one of its inventor clients' product ideas from an India-based developer that it had contracted to put it together.
In June 2007, an India-based leader in the manufacturing and distribution of sporting goods had received and reviewed preliminary, non-confidential information on the invention and had requested more information regarding it. After having signed the requisite non-disclosure agreement, the company had reviewed the detailed design information available and were sufficiently intrigued in the potential of the product idea to sign an exclusive developmental agreement for it.
At that point, the company had requested a professional prototype be created in order to facilitate their ability to make a long-term decision on the invention. Accordingly, Innovation Direct™ had contracted the aforementioned India-based prototype developer to create a sample that could eventually be furnished to the potential licensee for evaluation.
The final version of the sample is now in the process of being reviewed by the inventor, after which it will be delivered to the interested company. If the manufacturer expresses an interest in proceeding to the commercialization stage with the invention after reviewing the prototype, Innovation Direct™ will handle all product licensing negotiations on behalf of the inventor.
About Innovation Direct™: Innovation Direct™ is a South Florida-based leader in the field of new product licensing and intellectual property transfer that has served inventors for more than a decade.
