The evening includes specialty cocktails, Cajun style gourmet cuisine, street performers, raffles, auctions, and bands in Northwest Bradenton. Since 1972, Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee (www.mealsonwheelsplus.org) has provided nutritional assistance and supportive services to individuals in their homes or in centers throughout Manatee County. The organization has continued to add essential services such as health monitoring, adult day center, outreach services and more. Although some of their operating funds come from local and federal government, over 60 percent of the funds needed are raised through donations, grants, and fund raising projects.
