Arylessence Announces Fragrance Industry Appointments for President and CEO Steve Tanner

Atlanta, GA, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Arylessence, Inc., the largest fragrance and flavor manufacturer in the Southeast, announces the appointment of its president and CEO Steve Tanner to the boards of directors of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and its research organization, the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM).

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) was founded in 1973 to represent the interests of the global fragrance industry and to promote the use of safe fragrance ingredients to protect consumers and the environment. Membership comprises the national associations of fragrance manufacturers in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, the Far East, and South America. The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) is IFRA’s independent scientific research organization.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, IFRA established the fragrance industry’s self-regulatory practices with the development and implementation of a comprehensive Code of Practice and safety standards, which are recognized by the U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and followed by cosmetic, beauty and personal care manufacturers around the world.
