Stellar Signs Accounts Payable Automation Contract with Yooralla
Stellar has signed an accounts payable automation deal with Australian community-based disability service provider Yooralla.
Melbourne, Australia, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Stellar, a leading global business process outsourcing provider, today announced that they have signed a three-year contract with Yooralla, a community-based disability service provider, to implement an accounts payable automation solution.
Under the terms of the accounts payable automation agreement, Stellar will provide an advanced invoice processing and workflow automation solution to support Yooralla’s accounts payable operations that process over 30,000 invoices per annum. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Yooralla’s existing processes are typical of many accounts payable departments, involving a great deal of manual sorting, coding, data entry and filing. Stellar’s solution for Yooralla enables each of their 30 branches to scan invoices, which are electronically sent to Stellar’s accounts payable processing system. Invoice details are captured using OCR and an electronic invoice document is created. Site staff can then log in to the accounts payable processing system online to view invoices that require coding using look up tables that are specific to their site. Invoice approvals are routed automatically for processing electronically. Invoice data is then exported into Yooralla’s finance system at their head office, validated and payment runs initiated.
Yooralla will benefit from reduced labour costs through the elimination of manually intensive processing, greatly enhanced financial visibility, and reduced operational costs through the elimination of printing, postage, storage and archival costs among others.
