Sound Show Announces April 18th, 2008 Show Lineup Authors Radio
World Talk Radio broadcasted on the Modavox network features Sound Authors, a live interview talk radio show.
New York, NY, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Each Friday at 1PM Eastern Standard Time, Sound Authors radio show features live interviews and readings from all varieties of authors, known and not-yet-known; all soon-to-be bestselling authors from all walks of life, from Hollywood actors to marathoners, to PhD therapists or life coaches. On this talk radio show, it is the story that counts. Authors sound off on every possible topic, from cuisine to culture, and from nature to nurture.

The first author guest this week will be romance author Emily McKay. Her book Baby, Be Mine was published by Harlequin Temptation and was also a finalist for the 2004 RITA Award in Best First Book and Best Short Contemporary Romance categories. Emily has gone on to sell seven more books to Harlequin Silhouette. Her next book, Baby on the Billionaire's Doorstep, will be released in April of 2008.
The second guest featured on the show will be Don Saliers, co- author of A Song to Sing, A Life to Live. In this rich exploration of music, authors Don and Emily Saliers interweave their own stories as well as those of others to reflect on the what, the how, and the why of music as a key aspect of spirituality in our lives. As an Indigo Girl, folk-rock singer-songwriter, Emily performs in primarily secular settings, while her father, Don - composer, cantor, and church musician - writes and arranges for church congregations.
The third guest on the show will be Ken Bruen, author of Cross. He was a finalist for the Edgar, Barry, and Macavity Awards, and the Private Eye Writers of America presented him with the Shamus Award for the Best Novel of 2003 for The Guards, the book that introduced Jack Taylor.
The musical guest for the show this week will be bluegrass musician Don Rigsby who is true to his mountain roots and made his own marks as a powerful tenor and distinctive mandolin player. He received the 1999 Bluegrass Now Magazine Fan’s Choice Award for vocal tenor of the year and the 2001 Governor’s Kentucky Star Award. “Empty Old Mailbox,” the title track from his third album, won the 2001 Song of the Year award from SPGBMA.
