Channel Intelligence Appoints Vice President and General Counsel
Orlando, FL, April 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Channel Intelligence (CI) announces the addition of Timothy M. French as Vice President and General Counsel. French will oversee the company’s worldwide corporate and legal matters, advising executive management and the board of directors on strategic and corporate governance matters, as CI continues to expand its Web-initiated commerce and marketing technology services for manufacturers, retailers and publishers.

Prior to CI, French worked in the capital markets and mergers and acquisitions practice groups of leading law firm Latham & Watkins LLP, which was named Law Firm of the Decade by Legal Business Awards 2007, and with Davis Polk & Wardwell, also one of the top firms in the US.
French brings to CI substantial public offerings experience, including convertible, investment-grade and high-yield debt and equity offerings. His expertise stems from working with a variety of clients including 3PAR, Advanced Analogic Technologies, Advanced Micro Devices, AMI Semiconductor, ANSYS, Comcast, Documentum, eTelecare Global Solutions, FLIR Systems, Gilead Sciences, Mentor Graphics, Neurocrine Biosciences, NPTest, Omnicell, Redback Networks, TheraSense, UTStarcom and Xyratex.
French holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley and a juris doctor degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, where he was awarded the Thelen, Marrin Prize for graduating first in his law school class. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is an authorized house counsel by The Florida Bar.
