Affordable Guitar Classes for Everyone
Vivanco Studios and CAPAmusic.org are partnering to launch music programs within Southern California.
Corona, CA, April 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Vivanco Studios and the Children’s Academy of Performing Arts are launching music programs at after school programs and community sites. Music for Everyone, Music for Life is their motto and their mission is to bring affordable music programs to communities within the Southern California region.
Their first program is the “Guitar Workshop” which is a 9-week guitar session. Youth of all ages can learn to play the guitar. Classes are open to anyone interested in learning and some adults have participated in these sessions. This is an exciting program that will meet the demanding needs of parents who wish to enroll their children in a cost efficient and effective program. Classes are currently held at the following locations:

New Life Community Church in Artesia, CA
Tuesdays, April 22 – May 27, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
East Hills Community Church, Riverside, CA
Wednesday, April 30 – June 4, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Foothill Country Day School, Claremont, CA
Monday, May 5 – June 9, 3:30 – 5:00 PM
“All our children have benefited from taking these guitar classes . . . we’ve maxed out and every class has been met with much enthusiasm from the students.” - Cheri Meyers, Extension Program Director, Foothill Country Day School, Claremont. Students will learn how to play the guitar, chords, and basic music reading. All classes are focused in teaching fundamentals of music while applying these principles to the student’s instrument.
The “Guitar Workshop” is open to anyone and everyone in the community wanting to learn guitar. The fee for the class is $99 for a 9-week session including materials needed for the class. Classical guitars are also available to rent or purchase at rock bottom prices from $30 to $89 respectively. These handcrafted guitars are designed for the beginning student. Founded in 2007, Vivanco Studios designs music programs for school districts, preschools, community centers and afterschool programs at affordable rates. Some of the program sites include Foothill Country Day School in Claremont, Connecting Kids in Artesia, and Church on the Hill Preschool in Norco. Vivanco Studios uses the most qualified and experienced music teaching staff and has developed customized curriculum to the meet the needs of each school.
