Special Care Dentistry Association Announces 2009 Board of Directors
Chicago, IL, April 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA) announces its 2008-2009 Board of Directors, effective May 1, 2008.
Leading the SCDA Board as President is Janet Yellowitz, DMD, MPH, FASGD, DABSCD. Dr. Yellowitz is a graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and holds a Masters degree in Public Health with a specialty in Gerontology and Geriatrics from the University of Minnesota. She completed her dental training at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine and became the first student member of the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry. Dr. Yellowitz is an Associate Professor and the Director of Geriatric Dental Programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and is Co-Principal Investigator in the Maryland Interdisciplinary Geriatrics Training Program in Medicine, Dentistry and Psychiatry.
The 2009 SCDA Board of Directors Officers also includes: Judith Messura, DMD, FAAHD, DABSCD (President-elect); Kevin Hendler, DDS, FASGD (Vice President); Kenneth Fedor, DDS, MS (Treasurer); Harold Livingston, DDS, FAAHD, DABSCD (Secretary); Ronald Ettinger, BDS, MDS, DDSc, FASGD, DABSCD (Editor) and Kaye Englebrecht, CAE (Executive Director).
Other SCDA Directors include Dr. L. Stanley Brysh, FAAHD, DABSCD; Charlotte Connick Mabry, RDH, FADPD; Tracy Dellinger, DDS, FAAHD, DABSCD; Ruth Goldblatt, DMD, FASGD; Kathryn Olson, RDH; Maureen Romer, DDS, MPA, FADPD, DABSCD and Alan Stark, DDS, PhD, FASGD, DABSCD.
