Caster Concepts/Kettering University Engineering Internship Program
Albion, MI, April 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Caster Concepts Inc. has joined with Kettering University to offer engineering internship positions at their Albion, MI location.
In the Fall of 2007, Caster Concepts began offering undergraduate engineering co-op positions through Kettering University based in Flint, Michigan. Caster Concepts currently has two paid first year interns enrolled in the program. Austin Pratt from Muskegon, MI and Will Bartels of Albion, MI have both accepted 5 year positions with the company. Both interns rotate every 3 months between their work responsibilities at Caster Concepts and their on campus studies at Kettering. Both Mr. Pratt and Bartels are first year students and are enrolled in Kettering's 5 mechanical engineering program. While on campus at Kettering, they will be attending classes in mathematics, manufacturing, design, and engineering. While at Caster Concepts, they are exposed to and develop real world skills in the areas of CAD software, design, manufacturing technology, and general engineering principles.
Caster Concepts has developed a world class engineering group over the past 4 years. Staff engineers include graduates from some of the finest engineering schools including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Michigan. Caster Concepts believes that the future of their manufacturing business is embedded in the ability to develop engineering skills and staff that can compete and communicate with the very best technical minds in any business.
