Sonitrol Pacific Wins National Recognition

Portland, OR, April 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Kerry Goodwin, DeJa Irving and Scott Stevanus of Sonitrol Pacific all received awards and Sonitrol Pacific Portland won the Circle X award at the Sonitrol Corporation and Sonitrol National Dealers' Association (SNDA) awards banquet April 19 in Washington D.C.

Kerry Goodwin, Sonitrol Pacific Puget Sound Director of Schools, won the Jon Merrell Education Award for his outstanding work with education facilities in 2007. Goodwin began working for Sonitrol Pacific in 1999 and has continually exceeded the expectations of his clients and the Sonitrol Pacific team. This award is presented by the Sonitrol Corporation in memory of Jon Merrell.

DeJa Irving, Sonitrol Pacific Tacoma Customer Service Representative, won first place in the Administrative and Customer Service Representative category of the SNDA National Achievement Competition. This was Irving's first time to place in the competition. Irving has provided exceptional customer service to Sonitrol Pacific clients since 2005.

Scott Stevanus, Sonitrol Pacific Portland Technician, won first place in the Technician category of the SNDA National Achievement Competition. Stevanus placed in the competition five times previously, but this is the first time he earned first place. Stevanus has worked for Sonitrol Pacific since 1997.

Jim Dopp, Sound Security Vice President of Finance and Sonitrol Pacific Portland Branch Manager, accepted the Circle X award on behalf of the Sonitrol Pacific Portland team. This award recognizes the top ten members of the Sonitrol national network and the Sonitrol Pacific Portland team is very proud to place first among this impressive group of professionals.

Sonitrol Pacific team members Amanda Dittebrandt, Gordon DuCette and Denise Smith all earned Honorable Mention in the SNDA National Achievement Competition in their respective categories.
