TV4U Names Industry TV Vet Gene Greenberg CEO of Its TVS Television Network Unit
Gene Greenberg, long time Las Vegas TV executive, has been named CEO of the TVS Television Network, an advertising supported live streaming service from TV4U.Com. and will head the effort to bring TVS to a full time advertising based IPTV network.
Henderson, NV, April 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Charry Kennedy, CEO of TV4U.Com, has announced that veteran broadcast executive Gene Greenberg has been named CEO of the TVS Television Network, which is a live streaming ad supported IPTV unit of TV4U. TVS, established in 1961, is the fourth oldest television network in the U.S. The TVS Television Network will begin broadcasting sports and entertainment programs on both its IPTV network, and on regional and network broadcast and cable. The network is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature a mix of classic and live programming.
Greenberg recently retired as Executive Vice President and General Manager of KVBC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his 35 year broadcast career, he served as Chairman of the NBC Sales and Marketing Committee as well as Chairman of the Nevada Broadcasters Association.
