KeyTrak Announces Approved Interface Agreement with ADP

College Station, TX, April 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- KeyTrak and ADP have agreed to create a direct interface between a dealership’s ADP Dealer Management System (DMS) and KeyTrak. The approved interface will allow dealerships to transfer vehicle, user and repair order information from the DMS directly to the KeyTrak system.

KeyTrak Vice President of Sales Richard Battle says, “This is an extremely exciting service. This interface will benefit operations as well as sales. On the operations side, the manager can simply transfer the information electronically, so when the vehicle arrives, all they have to do is tag the keys and put the vehicles on the lot!”

When receiving a shipment of vehicles, dealerships receive an inventory list electronically consisting of VIN numbers, make, model, color and so on of the vehicles. In order to get the information from the DMS to the KeyTrak system, historically dealers had to enter the information manually. Entering the data manually is a time-consuming process and increases the opportunity for human error. The approved interface expedites the process, improves accuracy and enhances sales operations.

"As far as improving sales efficiency: a sales rep can then see what vehicles are on the lot as well as en route once their information has been downloaded," Battle says. "In the event a prospect is looking for a particular make or color that is not available, the sales rep can see if one is on the way, and give accurate information to the prospect. The improved information availability will enhance the dealership's sales efforts."

According to a recent press release on the ADP website, "ADP offers the widest range of HR, payroll, tax and benefits administration solutions from a single source. ADP's easy-to-use solutions for employers provide superior value to organizations of all types and sizes. ADP is also a leading provider of integrated computing solutions to auto, truck, motorcycle, marine and recreational vehicle dealers throughout the world."
