Get the Latest Insights into the Newest Data Standard: Free MTOSI Webinar, April 6th
Learn how MTOSI and the SID can play critical and complementary roles in a service provider’s total integration strategy across OSS/BSS systems, the TM Forum’s ‘Using MTOSI Interfaces in a SID enabled Service Provider’ Webinar on April 6th, 2006, sponsored by Pantero Corporation.
Boston, MA, March 24, 2006 --(PR.com)-- This first-ever TM Forum Webinar featuring the MTOSI (Mult-Technology Operations Systems Interface) will provide an introduction to this important new standard and practical insight to architects and developers looking to understand how MTOSI can be leveraged to reduce the cost and complexity of OSS integration in the areas of fulfillment and assurance. The Webinar will also introduce important new work in the harmonization of MTOSI with the TM Forum’s SID (Shared Information/Data) model, a key asset in enabling service providers to achieve a loose coupling across systems in Service Oriented Architectures.
Conceived as a standard to manage network elements like alarms or changes in state, MTOSI is built using XML to reduce the complexity of network integration. In 60 minutes TM Forum’s Steve Gaito will outline what the MTOSI interface is, where it can be used, and how the information communicated across it maps to the TM Forum SID information model.
Pantero’s Pano Anthos will demonstrate how Pantero’s software is providing critical enabling technology to enable the adoption of industry standards like MTOSI, how Pantero’s software is being used by the TM Forum to define mappings between MTOSI and the SID to simplify and ensure consistency in the adoption of these important standards.
“Consistent with our tools to enable the use of the SID, Pantero will create a free tool for developers to validate their code and insure data consistency of MTOSI messages,” Pano Anthos, CEO of Pantero Corporation said.
