About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

Few if any observers of inner city education have dared to address the key questions so frankly and in a manner so contrary to the views of the politically correct. How do we explain the terrible achievement of black pupils at all school levels and at all socio-economic levels? What about violence and security in these schools? Is it true that some inner city school administrators will do anything to keep the public from discovering the real situation?

What is the truth about affirmative action programs? How do poor pupil values affect their actual school achievement? Are there significant differences between white teachers and school administrators, and black teachers and school administrators? Have black leaders helped or hurt black pupil achievement? What happens when blacks control their own school systems? What does the future of urban education look like?

Deftly constructed at 168 pages, The Emperor Has No Clothes!: The Crisis in American Inner City Schools is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Education category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, The Emperor Has No Clothes! meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $16.95.

Additionally, The Emperor Has No Clothes! can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press wholesale online bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/buybooks
