TVS Vintage Network Adds The Whistler, DuPont Cavalcade Theater, Kate Smith Hour, and Dumont's Cavalcade of Bands to Spring Schedule on WatchYour.TV
Hundreds of vintage TV shows from 1948-1957 now populate this unique streaming post cable network from the TVS Television Network. Most of these shows have not been telecast since their initial airing more than a half century ago.
Essington, PA, April 30, 2021 --(PR.com)-- TVS Vintage Network, the streaming post cable network that showcases TV shows from the first decade of broadcast television, has added several "lost" TV shows to the schedule. DuPont Cavalcade THeater, an iconic radio and TV show; The Whistler, also an iconic radio show that turned to TV; the Kate Smith Hour from the early 1950's, and the long lost DuMont Network Cavalcade of Bands all are now featured on the channel.
Broadcast TV with all networks began in 1948 and was initially populated with live performances captured by kinescope for replay to the West Coast. Most of these shows have not been seen on TV since. In the early days of TV, the programming was controlled by sponsors and ad agencies, with the networks serving as a conduit to the viewer/consumers. This made many of these shows basic infomercials salted with entertainment to attract the viewers. TVS Vintage Network showcases these shows for the modern viewers, giving them a peek at how America was viewed in the post war era when the baby boomers were indeed babies.
TVS Vintage Network is one of several post cable networks in the TVS Classic TV bundle. Other channels include TVS Front Page Detective Network, TVS Classic Sports Network, TVS Flashback Network, TVS Nostalgia TV Network, TVS Light Network, TVS Quiz Show Network, TVS Pinball Network, TVS Main Street Network, TVS Buckboard Network, and TVS HiTops Network. All are on the watchyour.tv platform, powered by Tulix. Via apps from Apple, Amazon, Google, ROKU, and Web TV, they can be seen on all IPTV and Mobile devices as well as on Smart TVs in 85% of TV homes in the USA.
All TVS programming is ad supported and free to view. TVS AdSales.Com, headed by Jerry Wolff, handles TVS sponsorship opportunities. TVS AdSales.Com is located in Miami, Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles.
