RMI Proudly Featured on Cover of Industry Leader Publication, PEO Insider Magazine
Resource Management, Inc. (RMI) is featured on the April cover of the National Professional Employer Organization, formally known as NAPEO’s PEO Insider Magazine.
Fitchburg, MA, April 30, 2021 --(PR.com)-- RMI, a family and minority-owned business since 1995, has recently been spotlighted in the April issue of the prestigious and industry-leading, PEO Insider Magazine. The Q&A with RMI publication featured the Lopez family including Reinaldo Lopez, CEO; Rachel Lopez, President; Alex Lopez, Vice President; and Naldi Lopez, Director. The publication comes from the National Association of Professional Employer Organization, that supports other PEO’s by giving them access to resources and advocating for the industry in efforts to promote and expand the PEO market.
The family defined their journey on how, and why they became a Minority-Owned business. President Rachel Lopez mentioned, “RMI draws from various talents to support and grow the business. Our employees bring with them specific identities that reflect their backgrounds. This diversity brings a different perspective that lends itself to creativity within the team. As a side note, it is also great when we have a company luncheon and are exposed to different flavors that we may not have even known exist.” The Lopez family also shared advice to other minority-owned PEO’s in the industry. Rachel said, “We have found it important and extremely helpful to ask questions and seek out advice and counsel from other PEOs, as this industry has great business leaders who are always willing to assist and speak on their experience.” Director, Naldi Lopez, also reflected back on how RMI came to be, “From the beginning, our family worked at RMI in different capacities and learned the HR outsourcing and co-employment business. Today, the family has assumed most of the responsibility for running the business. It was a natural progression that from the inception of RMI through today we have maintained a family presence within the company.” RMI recently celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2020. Since then, the company has also been named the Best Minority-Owned Business by the Worcester Business Journal at their 2021 Best of Business Awards for the three consecutive years. In 2018, the company was recognized by the US Department of Commerce for the Minority Professional Services Firm of the Year. As they look to the future, RMI hopes to be a leader not only locally, but expand their reach as a strong regional and national PEO market leader.
