MonkeyMeter.com Begins Forecasting Road Rage
Monkey Meter has begun a weekly national forecast for road rage using data from over 20,000 visitor inputs. Data from NHTSA is also incorporated making a reasonably accurate forecast.
San Jose, CA, March 25, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Since its beginning, Dec. 4th, 2004, Monkey Meter has had over 20,000 visitor rate their road rage. Upon analysis of the data certain trends became visible making it possible to begin forecasting road rage nationally up to a week in advance. Days highs and lows will also be available to compare with forecast.
Since June of 2005 Monkey Meter has been reporting the average for each day of the week, and user ratings have matched the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) data fairly consistently. User input has also matched data for high road rage by time of day.

A national average page also exists displaying all of the cities in the current database with their current road rage rating. The site tries to keep the attitude light by including, a daily joke, Off the Mark Weekly Comic, and pictures relating to anything automotive. Since Monkey Meter’s beginning, Dec. 2004, user input has reflected a trend in road rage that appears to be repeating itself this year. Road rage is at it's highest in January, and then begins to slowly descend until the end of August. After summer it began to climb peaking in January 2006.
