Greg Mason Joins ActionCOACH in Kyalami, South Africa.
His future plans include starting a practice in Cape Town.
Las Vegas, NV, May 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Pieter Scholtz, ActionCOACH Master Licensee, has named Greg Mason as the newest ActionCOACH in South Africa.
Mason will be located in Kyalami, South Africa. “I will work most of the Gauteng area; however, I will be starting a practice in Cape Town, South Africa in the near future,” he said.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, Mason was head of change for a large financial services arm of one of the leading banks in South Africa. He headed the strategic change portfolios for 12 companies.
Mason started a LISP company that currently has over R25 billion assets under management. “I also worked as head of change and delivered the strategic IT roadmap for the 12 companies,” he said.
After spending 14 years in corporate life, Mason realized that the values he needed from a job were not being met in his current job.
“I felt that I’d much rather help business owners in the small and medium sized sectors as they are willing to change,” he said. “My wife found an advertisement of ActionCOACH in Entrepreneur Magazine and told me how this would be a perfect fit for me.”
Mason’s previous experience will be helpful in his new role as an ActionCOACH.
“The role is almost identical in many ways: identifying the goals for a corporate and helping the companies work out plans to reach their goals. “The main point of difference will be doing this with shorter 90-day planning sessions,” he said.
A member of the Johannesburg and Midrand Chamber of Commerce, Mason describes coaching as humbling and exciting. “It is an inspiring adaptation for me, because coaching is all about the client,” he said.
ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
