Free New Ebook of Inexpensive and Good Paris Restaurants
Walt Ballenberger of Beaux Voyages, Inc. is making available a free Ebook entitled “Selection of 80 Inexpensive and Good Paris Restaurants”, compiled by Paris Eiffel Tower News.
Monument, CO, March 25, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Finding a good yet inexpensive restaurant in Paris is not always easy. People visiting the city who are trying to control their costs, but at the same time want to experience good French cuisine will appreciate this Ebook. So says Walt Ballenberger of Beaux Voyages, which operates tours throughout France.
“To celebrate our new offering of Paris Tours we’re pleased to offer this excellent guide which is well organized and easy to use”, stated Ballenberger. He added “it is organized by the 20 Paris districts, or arrondissements, as they are known in France. If your hotel is in the Latin Quarter, for example, in District 5 or 6, you can simply print out those two pages and take them with you”.
The guide only recommends restaurants serving various forms of traditional French cuisine. Prices are about 12-17 euros for a lunch menu. Dinner is normally a bit more, and prices do not include wine.
Chez Marcel in the 6th District
An entry in the 6th district, Chez Marcel is a good example. The cuisine style is listed as “Traditional French cuisine in an old bistro ambiance. Good wines”. The address and telephone number are given, so it is easy to have your hotel call and make a reservation and provide directions. The nearest subway station is noted, which is Notre Dame des Champs, for Chez Marcel. The restaurant is open until 10pm, and it is closed Saturday and Sunday. Their lunch menu is about 16 euros.
Another example among the four given for the 6th District is the Polidor whose cuisine style is noted as “Traditional French cuisine with a simple, family feel. One of the oldest Parisian bistros”. Ballenberger notes, “Our son took us to the Polidor when he was living in Paris. It was recommended by a lifetime Parisian, and the ambiance was perfect. You know you are in Paris at the Polidor. The food was excellent as well and the prices were not high, as advertised in the free guide”. Other restaurants in the guide offer meat, fish, game, or French country cuisine, and these are always noted.
Ballenberger continues, “This is a great little resource for anyone visiting Paris. The Ebook is in PDF format, so if you have your computer along, you don’t even have to bring any printed material. Our friends at Paris Eiffel Tower News have done a great job”.
The free Ebook can be obtained by emailing info@beauxvoyages.com. Simply put “Paris Ebook” in the subject area and you’ll receive it normally within 48 hours.
