Soliton Spawns a LEDer™
Soliton launches cost-effective LED based machine vision (MV) lighting solutions. The LEDer1000™ series will be manufactured in India and will initially be available in ring light and flat array form factors.
Bangalore, India, May 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Soliton Technologies, Bangalore based machine vision pioneers, now also offers cost-effective MV lighting solutions. LED based machine vision (MV) lighting just got more affordable for MV practitioners as Soliton starts manufacture of LED based MV illumination in India. The LEDer1000™ will initially be available in ring light and flat array form factors.
The ring light model incorporates design meant to ensure that automation experts will no longer be frustrated by dark spots, low illumination, non-uniform lighting or other issues normally associated with LED ring lights. Innovative thinking also resulted in a one-of-a-kind USB power source that can be powered either by a computer (which is a part of most MV systems) or by any generic 5V power supply. The new minimalist design takes away the need for a separate proprietary power source (the more prevalent design) which is usually purchased separately at an additional cost.
The LEDer1000™ will be available in amber, blue, green, red, yellow and white with models for both close and far working distances. Optional accessories like diffuser sheets and polarizers are available on request. With the launch of the LEDer1000™ series, Soliton’s commitment to providing the best components for machine vision practitioners now includes research and continuous development of innovative and effective illumination devices.
