Simon Calder Hosts Travel Industry Charity Pub Quiz
Travel journalist Simon Calder is to host a travel industry charity pub quiz on the 27th of May in London to raise money for the Family Holiday Association, a UK charity that gives children in need the chance of a break away with their family.
London, United Kingdom, May 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Travel journalist Simon Calder is calling on travel industry teams to compete for the title of “Travel Pub Quiz Champions” at a pub quiz in central London on the 27th of May to raise money for the Family Holiday Association (FHA), the charity that gives children in need the chance of a break away with their family.
Calder will host the quiz, which is sponsored by Gail Kenny Executive Search, and companies can enter teams of up to six for £25 per person.
Teams receive food platters and their first drink free, and throughout the evening spot prizes and free drink tokens will be up for grabs.
The FHA currently has a waiting list of families desperately in need of a break away, and funds raised will go towards helping those families.
