Local website and database design firm CEO, tired of not being able to find a centralized place to view relevant political candidate information, develops and launches candidate information portal in Jackson County, Georgia.
Jackson County, GA, May 15, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Tom Murphy, president and CEO of Murphy Consulting, Inc. (MURCON) announced the launching of a non-partisan, political information portal website at www.JacksonCountyDecision2008.com.
“I never could find one, central place to go to where I could find information about or links to information about all of the candidates running in a particular election,” says Murphy. “So I decided to develop a website to solve that problem. JacksonCountyDecision2008.com is that solution.”
JacksonCountyDecision2008.com is a portal linking to information provided by each candidate in races effecting Jackson County. All races from local to state to federal are included. Each Jackson County candidate is listed on a candidates page and with alink, if desired, to information about their candidacy. The link could be to the candidate’s website, an email address, or a page on the portal site provided to the candidate at no charge by MURCON.
There will also be a page about Jackson County and a page of links to direct visitors to other websites related to Jackson County or the political races.
Murphy said, “We wanted to help level the playing field by making sure each candidate had a place to speak their piece on the Internet.”
