Sound Authors Radio Show Announces May 16th, 2008 Show Lineup
World Talk Radio broadcasted on the Modavox network features Sound Authors, a live interview talk radio show.
New York, NY, May 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Each Friday at 1PM Eastern Standard Time, Sound Authors radio show features live interviews and readings from all varieties of authors, known and not-yet-known; all soon-to-be bestselling authors from all walks of life, from Hollywood actors to marathoners, to PhD therapists or life coaches. On this talk radio show, it is the story that counts. Authors sound off on every possible topic, from cuisine to culture, and from nature to nurture.

The first author guest this week will be Richard Guy, author of The Mysterious Receding Seas. He is a Structural Engineer with forty years experience in England, The Middle East, The United States and The West Indies and he has been an engineering consultant for thirty years. The third guest on the show will be Shel Horowitz, author of Grassroots Marketing: Getting Noticed in a Noisy World. Shel is a speaker, author, consultant and an expert on frugal, ethical and effective marketing. The musical guest for the show this week will be Don Rigsby, who has remained true to his mountain roots and made his own marks as a powerful tenor and distinctive mandolin player. Rigsby has released three solo albums. His first, “A Vision,” won the Association of Independent Music’s “gospel album of the year” award and was nominated for an IBMA award. He received the 1999 Bluegrass Now Magazine Fan’s Choice Award for vocal tenor of the year and the 2001 Governor’s Kentucky Star Award. “Empty Old Mailbox,” the title track from his third album, won the 2001 Song of the Year award from SPGBMA. In 2005, Rigsby was awarded two IBMA awards for his role as producer of the Larry Sparks project “40” for Recorded Event of the Year and Album of the Year.
