Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Takesha earned her B.S.B.A. in finance from East Carolina University in 1998 and her M.B.A. in project management from Strayer University in 2011. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Takesha has won numerous awards including Support Team of the Year in 2015 and Contracting & Procurement Team of the Year in 2021. Later this year, Takesha will be featured on the famous Reuters Billboard in Times Square, New York City.
Takesha is married to her husband, JJ, and they have three children, Dasia, Ashley and Brandon. In her free time, she enjoys family activities and physical fitness.
