Puttaswamy Kumar is the executive director/CEO of Springs of Lady Lake. In his role, Kumar is responsible for financials, budget development, cost reduction, quality control, strategic planning, execution, distribution management, and customer service.
Prior to his current position, Kumar was the network director at Carondelet Health Network/Morrison Health Care and was the senior director of Georgetown University Hospital.
Kumar owns Chef Kumar’s Culinary Gourmet, which sells Indian cuisine products including famous curry, butter and vindaloo sauces. He is also the owner of Maggio's Bistro where he oversees operations and management and trains and supervises the staff. “Starting this business has been a wonderful experience,” said Kumar. “I enjoy taking care of our amazing clients and their family members. I am thrilled to be self-employed and fulfilling the American dream.”
In his spare time, Kumar is extremely active, volunteering in the Marion County school district and the American Red Cross. He also volunteers doing mentoring and community outreach.
Kumar earned his M.B.A. from Stratford University.
