Andrew Barnett Davis Recognized as a Professional of the Year for Two Consecutive Years by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

Bridgeport, CT, May 17, 2022 --(PR.com)-- Andrew Barnett Davis of Bridgeport, Connecticut has been recognized as a Professional of the Year for 2021 and 2022 by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of art.

About Andrew Barnett Davis
Andrew Barnett Davis is an award-winning sculptor and painter who presently teaches at the Silvermine School of Art. Located in New Canaan, Connecticut, Silvermine Arts Center is recognized for its professional instruction by distinguished art educators in a variety of media. It is also a prestigious place to exhibit – a widely hailed showcase for talent from all over New England and beyond. Davis has also been an instructor for the Kentucky Artist Council, the Carnegie Art Center, and The Brookfield Craft Center.

Davis specializes in all forms of art including sculpture and paintings. His artwork has been commissioned nationally for such institutions as Sarah Lawrence College and The National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. His work is in a collection of the Hillel Jewish Student Center at the University of Cincinnati, and his drawings have been displayed in galleries in the United States and abroad, including solo exhibitions and shows in Kentucky, Ohio, Connecticut and Italy. Davis’ sculpture, “Mountain, River, Sea” is on permanent display in the Museo dei Bozzetti in Pietrasanta, Italy.

The artist’s background includes an apprenticeship to master craftsperson Giovanni Bedini in Carrara, Italy and to renowned sculptor Michael Skop. He was an artist-in-residence at the William H. Martin Northern Kentucky Community Center, Covington, Kentucky (1992-1995).

In his spare time, Davis enjoys spending time with family and friends and is involved with the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce.
