Chris Distefano Joins Magna Hotel Group as Director of Capital Projects

Boston, MA, May 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Chris Distefano has joined Magna Hospitality Group as Director of Capital Projects. He was previously the Regional Director of Engineering for Grand Heritage Hotels International. Mr. Distefano has over 8 years experience in hospitality and 12 years in construction management. He has been credited with inspiring the green hospitality movement with a desire to lower operating costs through sustainable operations. Mr. Distefano is certified from the U.S Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional. He has consulted on numerous green hospitality projects though out the U.S. and is credited with being the first person to transorm an existing hotel into a LEED certified property.
