Belconn's ADSS Optical Cables to Address Aerial Network Deployment

Torino, Italy, May 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- As part of a reorganization of current Belconn's solution portfolio for outdoor optical fibre cables, ADS standard family of products was recently introduced.

ADS cables specifically address ADSS (All Dielectric Self Supporting) applications for telecommunication aerial network deployment.

ADS cables are high capacity, lightweight and convenient optical fibre cables suitable for medim span installation (typical between 50 and 120 mrs), featuring a high degree of installation flexibility.

ADS cables may be successfully utilised as a cost and weight effective alternative to "figure 8" self suspended cables, with great advatanges in terms of cost, weight and installation time.

As a standard, ADS cables are available in single mode configuration, G652B, G655 and G656 technology.
