George W. Thomas Joins PinnacleOne as Market Development Manager for Construction Claims Services

Thomas, Esq. has joined the firm as Market Development Manager for Construction Claims Services. Mr. Thomas, who will be based in the Columbia, Maryland office, will expand PinnacleOne’s services in the greater Washington, D.C. Metro area.

As an attorney, Mr. Thomas brings more than 25 years of experience representing the surety industry in construction. He has managed and supervised outside counsel and directed major litigation in all of the various courts. His role has ranged from outside consultant, to in-house staff counsel, to Assistant Vice President of Contract Surety Claims. His broad range of experience has made him an expert in the fundamental standards of care for the surety industry. Mr. Thomas has reviewed, drafted, prosecuted, and defended claims of owners, contractors, sureties, and insurers.
Mr. Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University, and his Juris Doctorate degree from The Ohio State University - Michael E. Moritz College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of California, Illinois, and the District of Columbia.
