Facilities Maintenance Expo Coming to Raleigh, NC May 29th

Raleigh, NC, May 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Facilities Maintenance Expo, a trade show for building facility managers and general contractors combining the focus of both a maintenance and a construction trade show, is coming to Raleigh on May 29th.

Taking place in the Kerr Scott Building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, the show will feature both national and regional exhibitors from a wide variety of product and service areas. This is the second year this show has been held in Raleigh.

Presented by American Expo, Facilities Maintenance Expo is a comprehensive event featuring the latest products and services for maintaining and operating buildings and facilities.

The Facilities Maintenance Expo will take place on from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29th with free admission to the event. Visitors who benefit from attending this type of show include plant engineers, maintenance supervisors, building owners / managers, contractors and sub-contractors among others.

The Raleigh Facilities and Maintenance Expo will feature the latest in both construction equipment and contractors’ equipment. “This format has been a success in other cities because many attendees who visit facilities maintenance shows also have purchasing responsibilities for construction products and services,” says Show Organizer Tim Cleary. “It’s two shows in one, and is a maintenance expo unlike any other regional trade exposition.”

Noted exhibitors at the Raleigh Facilities Maintenance Expo will include national companies such as:

• Georgia Pacific
• Sherwin Williams
• ServiceMaster
• XPEDX
• Orkin Pest Control Co.
• Carrier Commercial

Among others, regional and local companies exhibiting at Facilities Maintenance Expo will include:

• Lyon Blalock & Sons
• Capital Ford
• Storr Office Environments

• Statesville Roofing
• Associated Scaffolding
• Southern Energy Management

“Visitors to the Raleigh Facilities Maintenance Expo will have the ability to meet with a unique array of exhibitors representing the latest in tools, machinery, material handling equipment, scaffolding, cleaning products, controls, maintenance products and more,” Cleary explains. “It is a dynamic and exciting environment where buyers and sellers can come together to learn about new products, compare prices, and demonstrate goods and equipment.”
