IN-COM Data Systems Expands Senior Management Staff to Accelerate Sales of Smart TS XL Product Line

Malcolm Roy joins as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Richardson, TX, May 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- IN-COM Data Systems, Inc. announced the hiring of Malcolm Roy for the newly created position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing to direct and expand the company’s licensing efforts for SMART TS XL, the Company’s software intelligence product.

According to Shlomo Friman, IN-COM’s CEO, Roy’s addition to the Company’s senior management fills a need that had been growing due to the Company’s recent rapid expansion. “We have been experiencing tremendous interest for the software intelligence capabilities of SMART TS products,” Friman stated, “and require a person of Malcolm’s proven sales ability, knowledge of the computer industry, and broad business experience to extend our outreach to Global 2000 companies and help take IN-COM to the next level in sales and profitability.”

Roy brings to IN-COM his more than 30 years of experience in developing and marketing computer hardware and software coupled with an extensive background in senior level management, beginning in 1977 with MAI-Basic Four and continuing with MDCSC, the computer division of McDonnell Douglas Corporation (1981-1986). At the latter firm, he was named ‘Manager of The Year’ while holding the position of National Director of ISO Sales.

In 1986, he left MDCSC to co-found and serve briefly as vice president of sales for Image Communications Systems, Inc., a Detroit firm specializing in developing advanced technology for document archiving. The following year, Roy moved back to Dallas, Texas, to set up and launch a new company, Omega Systems, Inc., to produce and market software for the automotive dealership and the then rapidly expanding telemarketing industries. The latter product induced the management of The Coral Group, to acquire Omega as part of a Nasdaq public offering. Omega Systems operated as a division of The Coral Group, with Roy serving as its president until 1992.

For the next five years, Roy provided senior level consultation to several real estate and software development companies, acting in executive management positions on an interim basis in advance of the major push by computer systems users nationwide to meet Millennium (Y2K) standards. At this time, he recognized the urgent need for personnel skilled in enterprise level software and hardware, and Roy founded the recruiting firm of MindLoft Corporation, along with several spin-off companies, to satisfy that need, particularly in the JD Edwards user marketplace. He also directed research into revolutionary software recruiting solutions, raising more than $1 million from private sources to help fund more than $1.5 million in software development. MindLoft currently holds patents for its proprietary Human Capital Markup Language (HCML) and its taxonomic solution to personnel skills measurement and management.

Roy also expressed his excitement at joining the IN-COM team. “SMART TS has exceptional potential for making a huge impact in the software intelligence industry and providing major companies with a tool that will greatly enhance the efficiency of their business operations,” Roy said. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the increasing success of this company.”
