Deadline for Scholarship Sponsored by NYC Attorney Approaching Soon
New York's leading attorney, Tracey A. Bloodsaw, is offering college scholarships to students interested in legal studies. The $500 scholarship will be awarded to students based on essays they submit to the NYC lawyer.
Astoria, NY, May 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Tracey A. Bloodsaw (http://www.traceyabloodsaw.com), a well-known and experienced attorney specializing in family law, divorce and criminal law, is offering a college scholarship for freshmen interested in pre-law or government.
Those interested in applying for the $500 scholarship have to submit a 500-word essay on their interest in the legal field. The scholarship is only open to Corona-East Elmhurst residents who will be college freshmen or sophomore in the fall of 2008. The essay should be forwarded to Ms. Bloodsaw by May 30, 2008 and will be remitted by June 30th.
“I have so many people to thank in my reaching my goals as far as my career is concerned. My mentors and the community leaders were very much instrumental in my staying on course and pursuing the profession I am in,” says Ms. Bloodsaw. “Because of that I vowed to do for those after me what my elders have done for me. I went back to my community and started a scholarship for the high school graduates intending to pursue a legal career. Those that have an interest in the legal field should be encouraged and assisted in realizing their dream. This scholarship will help to support them in their endeavors,” she asserts.
Ms. Bloodsaw, who practices in both New York and New Jersey, has been practicing family law for more than 10 years and is committed to going back to the community that helped her reach her professional goals.
